People think pr is socialist because of the Tories

Tories are bad for the country because they make fptp look like it is supported by Libertarians and capitalists. The Tories often falsely claim to be against socialism and against communism but they support fptp. The Tories have a reputation for defending capitalism but they support fptp which makes people think fptp could be capitalist. It is because the Tories support fptp that the people do not realise that fptp encourages socialism. If the Tories support pr then people will recognise that it is a more liberal system. Because the Tories reject pr the people reject pr thinking it is socialist. People think pr is socialist because the Tories dislike it. If the Tories changed their position on pr then the people would be more willing to accept it... assuming as they apparently do that the Tories support freedom. If the Tories changed their position on fptp then we would have pr. The reason we do not have pr is because the Tories are irrationally against it.
